The points to check before selecting a motorised system: 1. What type of external screens do you prefer? Two options: choose between a standard external screen or a Zip screen. Zip screens offer real advantages: a perfectly tight fabric, greater wind resistance and total darkness. 2. What is the angle of your wall? Motorised systems for external screens can only be installed on perfectly straight walls ( 180° angle). 3. What quality of fabric do you need? Certain criteria will determine which product is right for you: UV and weather resistance, easy maintenance, etc.
Several types of external screens exist: 1. Screens with cassette. The sealed cassette protects the fabric from bad weather and guarantees that your equipment lasts longer. 2. Traditional screens. There are two types of screen systems: a rail system that guides the fabric along rails, or a cable system that guides its travel freely.
